Location:
Box Hill Institute was established in 1924 and is located in
Victoria, in the Melbourne Metropolitan area, on several campuses
around Box Hill. All campuses are within walking distance from one
another and the city is only 27 minutes away by train. There is
also direct access to buses and trams. Box Hill is very
multicultural and a pleasant place in which to live and study. Box
Hill is well serviced by shopping centres, health services,
religious centres, restaurants, sporting arenas and parks.
Courses Available:
Box Hill Institute is ever expanding and so are the courses
offered to International students. Courses now include Bachelor of
Computer Systems (Networking), Bachelor of Biotechnology and
Innovation, Bachelor of Applied Music. New 2 year Diploma of
Hospitality Management in the fields of Commercial Cookery and
Patisserie and Baking are now available.

Tuition Fees:
Most of our formal courses cost AUD$9000 per year, except for
our Diploma of Hospitality Management (Commercial Cookery or
Patisserie / Baking) both of which are AUD$11000 per year. Our
ELICOS English Language courses offer great value at only AUD$270
per week. Bachelor degree programs in Applied Music, Computer
Systems (Networking) and Biotechnology and Innovation offer great
value at AUD $12500 per year.

The Institute provides a range of services to support
international students, including general welfare support and
counselling along with information for further studies. Services

Further Studies Opportunities:
Graduates from Box Hill Institute of TAFE may apply for entry
into related degree courses at many Australian universities
including Deakin University and Central Queensland University for
many popular courses. Students who have successfully completed a
Diploma or Advanced Diploma can receive up to 11/2 years credit
towards University or Box Hill Institute Bachelor Degrees.
