Brisbane North Institute of TAFE offers over 200 certificate and
diploma courses in program areas including English Language
Studies, Business, Information Technology, Tourism & Travel,

Our teachers are fully qualified and industry experienced,
ensuring that our students receive the highest standard of teaching
and the most up to date and industry-relevant information.
Classes are kept to limited numbers of students, so that
teachers can give students the personal attention they require in
order to succeed in their course.
Qualifications offered by Brisbane North Institute of TAFE are
nationally accredited and recognised. Our diploma courses
articulate to many Australian university courses. This means that
once you have successfully completed our diplomas, you will have
direct entry into a relevant university degree course.
English Courses
Brisbane North Institute of TAFE offers quality intensive
English Language programs (ELICOS) through its English Language
Centre, which is located at our Ithaca Campus on the CBD fringe. We
offer General English programs with academic content to prepare
students for Certificate, Diploma and Degree programs. The English
Language Centre is well regarded for its personable approach, where
small class sizes ensure personal attention and friendly support
from teachers.

Located 30 minutes from the city centre the Bracken Ridge campus
offers a multitude of courses including hospitality, sport and
recreation, built environment, automotive, and electrical
engineering.
Caboolture Campus - Cnr Tallon and Manly Street, Caboolture QLD

The Caboolture campus provides extensive training options for
the burgeoning population in this growth corridor, servicing
Caboolture, the Sunshine Coast, Glasshouse Mountains and Bribie
Island. Courses offered at the Caboolture campus include adult
learning and literacy, business, community and human services,
hairdressing, and hospitality.
Grovely Campus - Fitzsimmons Street, Grovely QLD 4054
Surrounded by lawns, gardens, nurseries, reclaimed forest areas,
golf and bowling greens, Grovely provides a centre of learning
excellence for horticultural trades and careers.
Ithaca Campus - Fulcher Road, Red Hill QLD 4059
The Ithaca campus is located close to the Brisbane CBD. Ithaca
leads the way in supporting industry with business, information
technology, veterinary nursing and automotive graduates, among
others. In fact, Ithaca campus is the sole provider within
Queensland for a number of programs within the animal studies,
automotive and renewable energy areas. Apprenticeship training is
provided by the automotive, furnishing and construction teams.
Redcliffe Campus - 64-68 Klinger Road, Redcliffe QLD 4020
The Redcliffe Campus is in easy walking distance of the
Redcliffe business area and the nearby beach, and offers a relaxed
learning environment. The campus features business and office
administration studies as well as progressive education in English
for migrants, adult literacy and numeracy, learning and life
skills, child care studies, and community and human services.

All five of Brisbane North Institute of TAFE campuses are easily

all campuses offer free parking to students.
Many types of accommodation are available in the Brisbane North
area. Accommodation options include inner-city apartments, houses
in the suburbs, or homestay with Queensland families. Before you
leave home make sure you have at least arranged temporary
accommodation for when you first arrive in Queensland.
Brisbane North Institute of TAFE refers all requests for
homestay to one of two approved homestay providers, BECAB (Brisbane
Education Consultants and Brokers) and Earthbeat.
